Jamie and Jonathan celebrated their wedding in a sublime way. For this wedding we had the chance to film the bride’s preparatives extensively. She looked absolutely stunning! The love they share for each other was very much evident throughout the day, and it was beautiful the way both their families were filled with joy for this union, and with how this amazing day came about. The ceremony took place in Mississauga, while the reception was held at the Oakville Convention Centre.
A celebration of true love shouldn’t have any impediments anywhere in the world. I was truly honoured and excited when Matthew got in touch with me almost a year ago asking me to film his and Adam’s wedding. It would be my first same-sex wedding and I obviously wanted it to be perfect. Felipe and I filmed this one with extra-attentive eyes, making sure that we would not miss any single detail, and also that we could capture the emotions that flowed throughout the day in the special way they deserved. Adam and Matthew celebrated their union with absolute exuberance. It was definitely a day not to be forgotten by them, nor everyone who were present at the Old Mill Inn to share their love with them.
